What is Surf Sports?
Surf sports plays a vital role in the surf life saving movement. Unlike any other sport their intent is to aid in developing the skills necessary to carry out Surf Life Savings’ core purpose, Saving lives on our beaches.
Every year SLSWA members have the opportunity in using skills to compete in a competitive sporting environment.
Our aim this season is to be able to provide and give our age groups the opportunity in having a go at carnivals that are held throughout the SLS season.
Unsure if Surf Sports is for your child?
We provide a relaxed fun safe environment for your child to learn new or refresh those old skills.
We are happy to provide and tailor individual or competitive programs for those who are serious about having a go at our upcoming carnivals for the 2021/2022 season.
Surf Sports is also a great way to meet new families, make lifetime friends and be involved in learning skills for life.
The first Peel Regional Championships (Little Nipper & Nipper) will be held in Secret Harbour on Sunday, 19 December 2021. This is an avenue for country club members to qualify to compete in qualification events at the 2022 SunSmart WA Nipper Surf Life Saving Championship, held on 11 - 13 March 2022.
We also take part in the Annual SunSmart Country Carnival which presents a great opportunity to head to a location in regional WA chosen by SLSWA, to compete with other clubs. This season the SunSmart Country Carnival will be held in Bunbury on 22 - 23 January 2022.
