What is Surf Sports?
Surf sports plays a vital role in the surf life saving movement. Unlike any other sport their intent is to aid in developing the skills necessary to carry out Surf Life Savings’ core purpose, Saving lives on our beaches.
Every year SLSWA members have the opportunity in using skills to compete in a competitive sporting environment.
Our aim this season is to be able to provide and give our age groups the opportunity in having a go at carnivals that are held throughout the SLS season.
Unsure if Surf Sports is for your child?
We provide a relaxed fun safe environment for your child to learn new or refresh those old skills.
We are happy to provide and tailor individual or competitive programs for those who are serious about having a go at our upcoming carnivals for the 2018/2019 season.
Surf Sports is also a great way to meet new families, make lifetime friends and be involved in learning skills for life.
We also take part in the Annual SunSmart Country Life Saving Championships which presents a great opportunity to head to a location in regional WA chosen by SLSWA, with other clubs to compete over the Australia Day long weekend. This season’s destination is Denmark in our state's South West. The program is also giving the opportunity to the U8/U9 Nippers to complete on day 3 of the weekend.
If you wish to attend, accommodation can be found at the below caravan park, state that you are with PBSLSC. They have a 3 night minimum.
